WHO IS THIS COURSE FOR
The AIDA 1 Freediving Course is designed for people with no prior experience who are not yet sure whether they want to take the full AIDA 2 freediving course, or for those who want to enjoy an exciting adventure but have limited time.
COURSE GOAL:

Learning how to hold your breath in a safe and comfortable way

Diving without ear pain to a maximum depth of 10 meters

Learning the rules and techniques of diving with a buoy and line

Learning free immersion (FIM) and bi-fins diving techniques
-
Holding your breath for at least 1 minute

Learning safety rules and understanding potential risks of breath-hold diving
PROGRAM:
1 theory session:

Water safety and the buddy system

What blackout (BO) and loss of motor control (LMC) are

Equipment knowledge and freediving disciplines
-
Freediving breathing techniques and relaxation
1 dry practice session:
-
Learning how to equalize pressure in the ears
-
Relaxed breath-holding
-
Rescue procedures
1 open water (sea) session:
-
Static breath-holding at the buoy (STA)
-
Learning line diving using FIM (pulling on the line) and CWTB (with fins) techniques
-
Diving with fins to depths of up to 10 meters
-
Performing in-water rescue procedures
The course lasts 1 day, with the option to complete the theory session online.
PRICE: 120 €.
This includes AIDA federation certification, pool entrance fees, diving insurance, underwater souvenir videos, as well as a small-group atmosphere and an individual approach to each participant.
Participants also receive a 50% discount on a professional photo session by KostekVisuals.
Full freediving equipment can be rented for an additional €15 per day.
